Congratulations this weekend to one of my beautiful Atlanta seniors, Emily as she graduates from high school. Emily is headed to Wheaton and I couldn’t be more excited for her! Can you imagine having all this gorgeous hair?

A maternity sneak peak…. Caroline has just been ordered on moderate bed rest so we grabbed a few minutes to do some quick maternity shots at her home. I’m certain this baby is going to be beautiful – just look at this gorgeous mommy to be – flawless skin and a perfect little baby belly… And due in four weeks… Can’t wait to meet the little beauty…

A sneak peak into the beautiful Indian Summer wedding I photographed this past weekend on Long Island. As we were all remembering the sadness of the many lives lost on 9/11, it was wonderful to celebrate love and new beginnings as well.

I love that these girls (one of whom is my daughter) have been friends since the third grade. Like all friends, they have had their ups and downs but managed through time to work them out. Friends until the end… I am excited that they are going into their senior year with the attitude of studying hard, getting into college and most of all having fun! Remember this time girls, as it is fleeting… I am proud of you all. You are beautiful, smart, responsible, and have a great future ahead of you. I can’t wait to see what kind of wonderful adults you will grow into. Thank you for sharing an incredibly fun morning with me and my camera. It was a privilege for me.

I love it when seniors bring their unique fashion styles and sport them during a photo shoot. Mary Katherine is no exception – she brought elegant style, British hipster, jewelry made of bottle caps and guiltar picks by her friends and all around fun teen fashion. She also brought more tennis shoes to this shoot than I have owned in my lifetime. Really, she could have worn anything, because the real star is her beautiful smile and gorgeous blue eyes. Mary-Katherine is an impressive artist with the desire to go to art school. She also loves all things British – music, clothing, language, authors and style. When she first emailed me, she used the word “brilliant” in her email which prompted me to think of the red photo both in Lennox Park here in Atlanta as a back drop for her photos… When we went to the park, Mary-Katherine lit up like a Christmas tree at the sight of the photo booth. It was great to see her get so excited. MK, I had a great time with you and your mom and left feeling like I had made two friends.
