  • "modern elegance, vintage nostalgia and timeless tradition..."

    I have an incredible passion
    for weddings and portraits.
I love not only anticipating a moment,
but capturing the moments between the moments in my images.
It is my desire to portray your
    personality in photographs that will
speak to your heart for years to come.

Riley ~ Atlanta Child Photographer

Mom wanted beautiful Christmas photos of Riley in her gorgeous smocked Santa dress.  Riley wanted to play in the fountain and make fish faces.  Guess who won?  We did get a sweet shot of her smooching Daddy….

Instantly! A Novella Book Signing Soirée

Have you ever met someone that you “Instantly!” knew you would be friends with?  (Pun Intended).  That is how I felt when I met Shameeka several years ago at a macaron class hosted by the lovely Helene Dujardin of Tartelette fame.  I have come to know Shameeka as one of the funniest and more importantly, one of the smartest women I know.  I have watched Shameeka empire build beginning with her hilarious blog, The Broke Socialite, then into Sugar Coma Tours with a most recent sold out Paris/London tour, lavish!, an unconference experience for the lifestyle social networker and now…  Author.  In Instantly! A Novella, Shameeka has written a hilarious take on what is it like to sit in a cubicle and hate your job.  And look where it catapulted her.  I was so thrilled to be invited to her Premier Book Signing Soiree at The Ellis Hotel last week, and was even more excited to photograph it.  The beautiful affair was styled by the lovely Melanie Hernquist of Lucky and Lovely.   Swoozies provided all the adorable details like the straws, coordinating napkins and Dammit Dolls©.  Swoozies coincidentally has partnered with Shameeka on her book tour and you can get your copy at any local Swoozies location near you!  Des Miettes Cookies also provide the beautiful and delicious perfectly matched cookies as a parting gift.  I enjoyed sharing this evening with you Shameeka and am glad to call you friend!  I will you all the success in the world!

Atlanta Moroccan Wedding – Atlanta Wedding Photographer

While I’ve never been to Morocco, I came close when I was given the opportunity by Shawna Herring, Atlanta Wedding Photographer, to detail/3rd shoot one of the most beautiful weddings ever.  The bride and groom are avid travelers and envisioned scenes from Morocco for their wedding and reception at the W Midtown.  It embodied all that a destination wedding implied.  Bryan Green of F & G Weddings was responsible for this extravaganza and nothing disappointed. Ambassador Andrew Young was the officiant at this beautiful affair.  The florals were exquisite orchids and red roses, the linens all beautiful silks.   It included elephants.  And the Pièce de résistance was the Chihuly cake topper.  Extraordinary.  Take a look for yourself.
